I love Nature, camping, beaches, cities, family, friends, going out, staying in, speaking up, and GETTING INVOLVED. I’m not good at staying silent nor saying no to people and I LIKE that about myself. I believe in loving wastefully, speaking passionately, giving generously, laughing loudly, crying openly, and Living Life.

I believe that Life is about living… about giving as much of myself as to myself. I love this world and the people in it. I strive to enjoy myself every day, learn everything I can, and stay passionate about the causes I believe in. I’m liberal, I’m generous, and I’m loyal as hell to those I love. I am often quiet, but I am easily entertained and quick to find reasons to love people. I’m a feminist. I’m a vegetarian. I’m a comparative religionist. My goal is to cultivate compassion in myself and others and to enjoy as much of Life as I’m given. I love Nature, camping, beaches, cities, family, friends, going out, staying in, speaking up, and getting involved. I’m not good at saying no nor staying silent and I like that about myself. I work hard; I play hard; I love hard. Life is hard, but I’m a firm believer that if you want to get the most out of it, it has to be that way.

I’m an anomaly for my family—the liberal, religious, book-addicted, vegetarian, feminist, tree-hugger daughter that comes out of an agnostic, meat-and-potatoes, all-American family. I consider myself the black sheep.
I’m a panentheistic Christian who believes in a God of process and a Humanity of compassion. I am a Comparative Religious Studies major and aspire to go into ministry, which unfortunately tends to scare people (since the popular perception of Christianity is of a literalist, evangelical, prejudicial Christianity, which is one that I’d like to see go extinct).
I enjoy inter- and intra-religious dialogue (let’s engage!).

I have an emotional, naive love for Humanity and am crushed by hatred, ignorance, and intolerance. I believe in progress. If you think I’m cheesy and idealistic—YOU’RE RIGHT and I don’t care. These are my tragic flaws. I choose to love them.
